The idea is to capture the originality of each terroir and of each grape variety to inscribe it into the wine.
We possess a great diversity of terroir, all are geologically different which permits us to obtain a large variety of flavours and characters.
VINTAGE 2010
2010: an exceptional vintage!
This year was marked by a long and severe winter with some extreme temperatures (up to -20°C).
These climatic conditions delayed the bud break in mid-April. A cool and wet weather in early May and then warm and sunny late May helped to catch up the delay in the vineyards. The flowering started in mid-June in early terroirs.
In early July, high temperatures accelerated the maturation process of the grapes and favored good health conditions. Summer conditions have confirmed the promises of the vine and revealed ripe grapes with a high levels of acidity.
The harvest began in mid- September for the Crémant and the rest of the harvest at the end of the month. 2010 reveals wines with freshness and fruityness. They have incredible levels of acidity that suggest great potentials for aging.
