The idea is to capture the originality of each terroir and of each grape variety to inscribe it into the wine.

We possess a great diversity of terroir, all are geologically different which permits us to obtain a large variety of flavours and characters.

VINTAGE 2011

2011: a vintage with great maturities!

2011 was characterized by extreme climatic conditions: a very cold winter (up to -20°C), a spring with warm weather and drought followed by heavy rainfalls during the summer.
The mild spring favored an early bud break, late March - early April and late flowering in May. The early summer was marked by a wet and cool weather, compensating the water deficit of the dry winter. The following weeks until the harvest took advantage of a summer climate, favoring the maturation of the grapes and ensuring good health conditions.
2011 was undoubtedly a good vintage in Alsace. The wines have a great aromatic expression with lots of fruit and freshness. They are characterized by a good maturity and normal acidity, thus balanced and with an excellent aging potential.
