Les Galets Oligocène
Fine flavours of red fruit, roasting and soft spiciness. On the palate, the wine is silky, supple and voluptuous.
Hand picked bunches of grapes in 40 Kg, sorted on a table before de-stalking. Maceration for 5 or 6 days before fermentation of about 12 to 15 days. There is a light pigeage to help the extraction of polyphenols (tannins, anthocyanes).
The must is taken from the tanks, pressed and then transferred into barriques for the malolactic fermentation. The wine is matured in the barriques for 14 to 18 months.
